Great spot on King Recently stopped by Baro. A Latin resto with a modern flair. This place has been on my list to visit for a while. Great looking restaurant with pretty darn good food. The Mac empanadas are absolutely amazing.

A Gem of Downtown Toronto One of the best meals I had in Toronto. Didn't need a reservation for our Sunday night dinner. The rooftop was packed, so we ate on the first floor. Great ambiance & service. My wife had the Aperol Spritz & I had The Geataway for drinks. We tried the Chori Papa for our appetizer, and it was very, very good. For our entree, we shared the OG Duck Chaufa. That dish was MASSIVE! And man...IT WAS SO GOOD. I'd come back for this on a weekly basis. The duck confit was cooked perfectly, and everything in the bowl meshed together so well. The bowl is so hot that it actually keeps cooking, so you have to stir often to keep the dish from burning. But it keeps your food hot the whole time! Also got a side of potatoes, which had a nice, fresh lemon flavor. Everything was great. Afterwards, we hit the rooftop to check it out. Great DJ & bar up there. I can see why it stays packed. This place is a neighborhood gem.

Trust the Reviews Went to Baro for brunch today and the food was delish. I had your standard eggs and bacon which came with sour dough toast, avocado and a home made salsa. Will definitely be going back.

Latin nightclub in Toronto I enjoyed the mix of latin music as well as a handful of other genres. The place looks really nice. Much different from before they did renovations. I’m definitely going back there again. I recommend this place if you want to dance. There’s a large space on the third floor for socializing and dancing, to chill, you can hang out on the 2nd floor where there are tables and chairs and it’s more of an engaging environment, and there’s a hidden Escobar party in the back that if you get the password you can go in.
